A Fairytale Woodland Wedding

I had the absolute pleasure of working on a fairytale woodland wedding that was nothing short of magical! Having previously met Lou from Bohemian Blooms while freelancing for another florist, I was beyond excited to jump at the opportunity to work with her again on her own couple’s wedding.

It was such a treat to return to her beautiful farm, surrounded by the intoxicating scents and vibrant colours of the flowers.

The wedding was set in the heart of the stunning woodlands in Frome, which made for the perfect fairytale backdrop. We had prepped everything the day before, so we were ready to start bright and early on the big day. One of my favorite parts of the setup was lining the aisle with wildflower meadows, which added such a magical, ethereal touch to the ceremony. It really felt like something straight out of a storybook.

For the reception, the breakfast was held in a charming old barn with two long, rustic tables. We adorned these with a collection of bud vases, each filled with gorgeous British seasonal flowers. But the real fun came when we worked on the suspended flower rings! We filled them with bright, summery flowers, creating a whimsical, floating garden effect.

Watching everything come together was such a rewarding experience—it’s always so magical to see all the hard work and creativity fall into place, especially when it’s for such a beautiful occasion.
